CHAPTER 2 part 3

Boo came over and picked up Roo from a patch of grass at the tree. " I'm going to show you how to properly fly today." she said. "With this rubber band fastened to these nails that I borrowed from Farmer Joe's barn, I will launch you into the air. This way, you will have enough speed and time to get your wings flapping." Roo had no idea what her sister was saying, but was smiling with anticipation anyway.

Boo gently placed Roo in the center of the taught rubber band attached between two nails. With all her strength, she pulled back as far as the band would let her. Then she let go of Roo. 'POING!' Roo zoomed five feet toward the sky and kept going.
