CHAPTER 5 part 5

Just then the group heard the voice of a little girl crying for help. The helpless little tot had plunged through the ice and now was clinging onto the edge of the pond with all her might.

Without even thinking, the Dork Dog became a courageous Canine and ran to her rescue. "Quick! You girls get ze help!" Bonji said as he ran afer Plato. Boo picked up Roo and flew home. Meanwhile, Plato grabbed the toddler by the hood of her jacket and began to pull. Seeing he was having trouble, Bonji clamped on to Plato's tail and began pulling as well. Once they had the girl out, they dragged her to the safety of the woods away from the pond. The hairy heros then instinctively laid down on top of her to keep her warm until the girls return with help.
